What you have to do to get permission to home educate....
1. Have a suitable home environment
2. Have adequate resources in and out of the home

3. Be learning for as many hours as schools do

3. Cater for the learning needs of the child
4. Have a System for planning, supervising, and recording learning experiences
5. Have a System for recording progress and achievement


HSIE = Human Society and It's Environment
PDHPE = Personal Development, Health and Physical Education
TAS = Technologgical and Applied Studies

Primary School 
 6-7yrs old - Year 1 -   Stage 1 - English, Maths, Science & Technology, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts

   7-8yrs old - Year 2 -  Stage 1 - English, Maths, Science & Technology, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts

   8-9yrs old - Year 3 -  Stage 2 - English, Maths, Science & Technology, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts

 9-10yrs old - Year 4 -  Stage 2 - English, Maths, Science & Technology, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts

10-11yrs old - Year 5 - Stage 3 - English, Maths, Science & Technology, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts

11-12yrs old - Year 6 - Stage 3 - English, Maths, Science & Technology, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts

Secondary School - 6 of the 8 areas, including English, Maths, Science, HSIE

12-13yrs old - Year 7 -  Stage 4 - English, Maths, Science, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts, Languages, TAS

13-14yrs old - Year 8 -  Stage 4 - English, Maths, Science, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts, Languages, TAS

14-15yrs old - Year 9 -  Stage 5 - English, Maths, Science, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts, Languages, TAS

15-16yrs old - Year 10 - Stage 5 -English, Maths, Science, HSIE, PDHPE, Creative Arts, Languages, TAS

16-17yrs old - Year 11 - Stage 6 -English + ????
